FCDO has awarded a contract for a demand-led, independent Third-Party Monitoring (TPM) and generating portfolio evidence, analysis, and learning (PEAL) services in Syria. This Contract is intended to provide assurance of results being achieved by UK Office for Syria (UKOS) implementing and downstream partners and to increase accountability to project beneficiaries. The Contract will run until February 2027 for a value of up to £10,000,000 (subject to a potential contract extension of up to 12 months at a value of up to £1,000,000). This Syria programme aims to reduce unmet, acute humanitarian health and basic needs of the most vulnerable across the country. The programme will focus on a range of needs for example, providing timely and effective multi-sectoral humanitarian response to emerging requirements, protracted displacement, building resilience at individual and community levels to enable people to cope in the short term, improve the equity and quality of the education system in Syria, delivering on the UK's commitment to improve girls' education and improving the effectiveness of the overall international response to the crisis.
