East Cambridgeshire District Council The Grange Annexe Lift Refurbishment

Description

East Cambridgeshire District Council require the refurbishment of the annexe passenger lift at The Grange, Nutholt Lane, Ely, CB7 4EE. The current lift is an electric hydraulic passenger lift (max. 8 persons/630kg) 3 floors indirect acting.\r \r It is expected that works will include:\r • The following to be removed and disposed of according to current hazardous waste regulations:\r o Lift control panel\r o Shaft information system, including wiring and limit switches\r o Car and landing push stations\r o Car lighting unit\r o Door drive unit.\r \r • Supply and fit the following:\r o New control system including shaft information system and switches\r o Rewire complete lift installation back as far as main isolator within the motor room\r o New door drive unit\r o New car and landing push stations to be DDA compliant\r o New car lighting including emergency backup\r o Carry out full hydraulic valve overhaul\r o Carry out full shaft clean down and paint lift pit area\r o Set up and test to the required British standards under BS EN 81, before returning lift to normal service.\r
