West Northamptonshire Council wish to appoint a Pensions Administration Software provider. The Pensions Administration Software provider will be required to provide Pensions Administration Software. The Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) is a national scheme administered on a local basis by West Northamptonshire Council in partnership with Cambridgeshire County Council on behalf of the Cambridgeshire Pension Fund and Northamptonshire Pension Fund, providing current and future benefits for over 170,000 scheme members. The Funds are governed by the Superannuation Act 1972 and the Public Services Pensions Act 2013. The Funds are administered in accordance with the following secondary legislation: - the LGPS Regulations 2013 (as amended) - the LGPS (Transitional Provisions, Savings and Amendment) regulations 2014 (as amended) - The Local Government Pension Scheme (Management and Investment of Funds) Regulations 2016 - the Public Services Pensions (Information about Benefits) Directions 2014 [with effect from 1/4/15] As at 31st March 2022, there were 349 active scheme employers in the Cambridgeshire Fund, including 237 scheduled bodies and 112 admitted bodies As at 31st March 2022, there were 318 active scheme employers in the Northamptonshire Fund, including 254 scheduled bodies and 64 admitted bodies. The number of employer establishments in each Fund is greater still due to individual academies being tracked within Multi Academy Trusts, as illustrated in the enclosed Annual Report and Statement of Accounts. Proposals are invited for the supply of Pensions Administration Software under the National LGPS Framework reference NCCT41608. This contract will be awarded under the terms and conditions of the framework and no variations will be considered to the Call-off Terms and Conditions attached.
