This officer authorisation will award a contract for a term of 1 year to Bartec Municipal Limited (Company Number: 10625022) (Bartec) for delivery of the Collective waste management and Collective X system. The agreement is currently valued at £34,020 for the one year term, further extension is provided for a period of up to three years but subject to agreement of both the parties. The Kingston upon Hull City Council (the Council) have used Bartec's Collective software as a waste management database service for organising and arranging residential bin collections and bulky waste disposal requests. The solution provided linked to those delivery wagons to further facilitate and organise those waste collections. The existing agreement was up for renewal in November 2023. Unfortunately, further consideration of the market can not be considered due to timescales and resources available. The Council seek to rely upon the current systems available and use the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) G-Cloud Framework to facilitate a one-year contract to Bartec via direct award. The period of the contract shall enable the Council to further consider the wider market offering, whilst enabling services to continue
