Phase 2 Site Wide Clearance and Earthworks Outline Scope\r The scope of work relates to site wide clearance of remaining areas of Phase 2, including removing former ministry of defence below ground structures, disused utilities, vegetation and completing strategic engineering earthworks. The main activities, are earthworks driven, and encompass the following:\r 1. Contractor Site set up and enabling works\r 2. Utility and ground Surveys (Ground Penetration Radar)\r 3. Tree Protection and Ecological Management Compliance\r 4. Site Clearance encompassing, vegetation and tree removal, topsoil removal and removal of hard standings, debris, waste, disused drainage, utilities and remediation of contaminated land if encountered.\r 5. Site remediation within areas outlined within planning approved site wide ground remediation method statement, inclusive of verification and validation.\r 6. Strategic Engineering earthworks to the permanent earthworks' development levels, upon completion of site clearance and deposition of site won or imported material, to accommodate either volumetric deficiencies or earthworks remediation requirements\r 7. Earthworks shall comply with the planning approved site wide remediation method statement and technical specifications being developed by Arcadis as well as permitted planning consent discharged by way of reserved matters.
