INTRODUCTION Nest is looking to procure one database to support the research activities of the Public Markets team, which is responsible for selecting and monitoring equity and fixed income external fund managers. The purpose of this notice is to identify solutions that can meet our specific requirement. Data will be used to screen investment strategies across quantitative (including performance, volatility, drawdown analysis, AUM) and qualitative (including investment philosophy, strategy, and ESG approach description) data points. Other use cases include the possibility to compare fund managers against industry benchmarks and custom peer group universes and to run holding-based analysis (to understand style drift, style factor analysis and the main contributors and detractors from performance). MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS The database must provide all of the following: - The data needs to cover a comprehensive set of global and regional fund managers and investment strategies and include information on separately managed accounts, with at least at least 25,000 long-only strategies and 2,500 managers - The Supplier must supply an option to subscribe to a dataset ONLY with no requirement to subscribe to additional services (e.g. consultancy services). - The Supplier's licence must allow Nest to use the data as specified in the introduction.
