Internal Audit Specialist

Please note that this not a tender exercise. Essex County Council (ECC) is keen to explore opportunities to develop how it can meet its requirements for Contract and Procurement Specialist Auditor work. ECC is looking to partner with professionals who can accommodate planned and unplanned audit assignments and undertake reactive audits as needed. This may be by way of a Framework Agreement and there is no fixed quantity of work. Auditors should have knowledge of local government contracts and procurement procedures and be able to conduct detailed and technical internal audits. The purpose of this early engagement is for the Council to understand the market and to draw on this information in order to finalise its options.
