OCPP work in Bangladesh to-date has been delivered in collaboration with a number of organisations including the Department of Fisheries (DoF), Bangladesh Fisheries Research Institute (BFRI), and Bangladesh Agriculture University (BAU). The programme is now aiming to establish a network focused on brackish water/marine aquaculture systems in order to provide opportunities to a wider set of organisations and create collaborations in Bangladesh between different institutes. The primary aim of this Contract is to create and/or reinforce a network of brackish water/marine aquaculture experts across different aquaculture disciplines and practices in Bangladesh, with the potential to forge a long-term legacy beyond the OCPP. This network is hereafter referred to as the Aquaculture Network.
