Health and Safety consultancy contract to provide advice on all aspects of H&S management across our housing stock, adult social care and new development, supporting the small in-house team. Under the Contract, the consultant will receive requests/instructions as and when a requirement arises. Areas of advice may include but are not limited to: - Assessing, auditing and assuring contractors' H&S management (covering areas such as Electrical, Fire Safety, Asbestos, Legionella, Lift Maintenance, Major Projects including Kitchen and Bathrooms, Roofing as well as repairs functions such as plastering, brickwork, gas servicing and installation works. - Client support in relation to accident and incident investigations including liaising with enforcement bodies; - External audit and assurance of TBG's H&S management systems; - Advice on managing other areas such as asbestos management, LOLER, legionella/water safety (L8), confined space work and general repairs and gas functions - Food Safety Advice & Auditing services to provide assurance to the client that concessionaires and service providers are managing their provision effectively. The consultant will also be required to deliver training under the contract as and when needed Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
