This notice is for prior information only. MOPAC are seeking a provider to lead on grant making and management, funding local groups who engage girls and young women affected by gangs, violence and exploitation. The provider will also co-ordinate and deliver a range of co-designed activities with girls and young women accessing those groups. The provider will also lead on evaluation, including producing final recommendations. Further to initial market warming in September 2024, we are holding a Market Engagement Event which will be held on the 23rd January 2025 1-2pm on MS Teams. To sign up to this event, please provide your contact details here: https://forms.office.com/e/0RDB5rivRG. The event will provide further detail on the approach to improving support for girls and young women and will outline the procurement process. The eco-system will be developed, co-ordinated, delivered and evaluated by a lead provider, with the option of working within a partnership context. Additional information: The provider shall deliver all requirements in the specification, including the administration of a grant fund of up to £660,000 for Civil Society Organisations to deliver local group work provision for girls and young women affected by gangs, violence and exploitation. This notification specifically relates to the procurement of a provider (via a contract) to lead on the grant giving and grant management process and to develop, co-ordinate, deliver and evaluate co-production activities with girls and young women affected by 'gangs', violence and exploitation. This requirement falls under the Light Touch Regime (those set out in Schedule 3 - Social and other specific services). A process similar to that of the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation will be followed. Contract award is anticipated in early April 2025 delivery over a maximum of two years, aligned with the grants programme and evaluation requirements.
