To undertake an Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) Study that will result in a strong evidence base that will inform activities and investment required to deliver against the Council's Community Plan, Health and Wellbeing Strategy, Housing Strategy and Economic Growth Strategy. The study will focus on a number of key areas within the Newark and Sherwood Local Authority District, The study will provide evidence to support future funding bids / applications to assist with the levelling up agenda and substantial information to develop a community engagement and regeneration plan and supports the creation of vibrant and self-sufficient local communities where residents look out for each other and actively contribute to their local area. Adopting the ABCD approach allows the council to develop a sustainable model for community development focused on the strengths and potential within a community.
