The Combined Authority is seeking potential providers who will build on local local insight and knowledge, to create a project proposal(s) that: • Aligns with the long-term strategic plans for local growth. • Targets people most in need, supports community engagement and builds capacity. • Focuses on individuals who find it difficult to engage with mainstream provision, for example, (but not exclusively), individuals who have not achieved success in mainstream educational settings, those who may not be aware of the skills they possess. • Enables learners to develop confidence in themselves providing educational support to aide progression for engagement, life and study. • Tests what is required for people to fully engage and progress into educational study, volunteering, and/or employment. • Deliver innovative numeracy learning which address barriers to numeracy that boosts people's ability to use maths in their daily life, at home and work • Engages with parents or legal guardians of primary school age children by delivering short intensive interventions to increase their confidence to support their children with maths (Lot 2 only).
