The provision of workplace adjustments is a legal requirement under the Equality Act 2010. Disability and Workplace Adjustment Team, (DWAT), (formally known as DPST - Disability Policy Support Team) support the implementation of workplace adjustments for employees with disabilities and long term health conditions in FCDO. This includes the provision of support for employees who are deaf and hard of hearing through face-to-face interpretation for employees who are deaf using expert British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreters and Lip speakers.
