Hackney and Private Hire Compliance (Testing)

Description

Contract No. VCT/22/1 Ashford Borough Council require the services of an established and experienced organisation, capable of working with the Licensing team in delivering a regime of Compliance testing for licensed vehicles. This includes ensuring licensed vehicles are booked in for routine testing, that failures and missed tests are reported to the council, and that suitable records are maintained and shared with the Licensing team in order that we can continue to ensure the licensed fleet are safe for use. Such tests are required 6-monthly of all hackney and private hire vehicles, with approximately 100 of each type of vehicle being licensed currently. In addition additional tests will be required to be undertaken where vehicle owners swap vehicles or where instructed by the Licensing Officers.
