The development of a learning resource to support assessment of people who are suicidal/distressed. The target audience/ users of this resource will come from staff working in health, social care and wider public health workforce. The resource should employ interactive immersive technology to provide flexibility and accessibility of learning to the above learners/users. This technology will be used to replicate real life learning scenarios in a digital learning format, enabling learners to practice real life intervention and risk assessment skills, however within a digital arena thus providing a safe-to-fail environment and learning taking place at a time convenient to the learner. It is hoped that the above approach would not only increase confidence in the learner but also develop or further enhance their digital confidence.
