B418 Post Operation Clean Out and Characterisation works

Description

Key activities of the Contractor under the B418 Characterisation and POCO scope of the works include: • The management and execution of the works • The provision of the sampling and analysis plan • The health physics survey of the facility. • The recovery of suitable samples to allow waste characterisation. • The recovery samples to allow building characterisation • The size reduction, segregation and packaging of all waste material • The undertaking of HRGS to all packages, pallets or items moved into B418.19 • The undertaking of HRGS to all samples before dispatch. • The radiological activity and transport calculations required to comply with ADR for the movement of all materials - both on the Premises and for dispatch to laboratory. • The movement too and storage of all packaged items to B418.19 • The transport of all samples to a suitable laboratory for analysis. • The recording, tracking and documentation of the works
