Reading Borough Council - Stack Window Replacement - AWARD

Description

The Council is seeking to appoint a Contractor to undertake works that includes the replacement windows, rainwater goods and Pigeon Proofing / Hedgehog guards and balcony handrails & guarding, lintels, Helibar Crack Stitching to Stack Block of Flats. The services will be let as a single Contract. The Form of Contract is the JCT Intermediate Form of Contract 2016. It is anticipated that the Contract will commence in 4 April 2022 and run for 37 weeks with a completion date of 16 December 2022. Once you have read the tender documents please, asap, either `opt in` (to indicate that you intend to submit a tender return) or, if you do not wish to be considered for the project, `opt out`, giving a reason. It is compulsory to provide a reason if opting out. Opt out reasons provide useful intelligence to Westworks members and often help shape tenders to be more attractive to suppliers. Please ensure that you include Westworks levy (1.5%) in your tender price, not as a separate line item. Levy will be recovered monthly, throughout the life of the project, based on the amount that you invoice the client.
