The Role of the Independent Advisor We are seeking to appoint an Independent Advisor to the Board whose key responsibilities will include: • Provide guidance, advice and challenge in relation to the transition to new Locality arrangements for health and care • Attend monthly meetings of the HWP System Board • To be a member of and contribute to the work of the HWP Leadership Group • To support the establishment and development of the HWP Integrated Delivery Board • Share knowledge, experience and advice on quality improvement methodologies and quality management systems • Support work across organisational and sectoral boundaries to ensure meaningful engagement in the work of HWP • Ensure members of the System Board/ICB follow the 7 'Nolan Principles' of Public Life. • Foster effective and constructive relationships within the system and externally between the System Board/ICB, key stakeholders and partners. • Attend ad hoc/informal meetings as required. • Network across Greater Manchester to link in with the GM agenda where required. All Members of the HWP System Board will collectively be expected to: 1. Set strategy and deliver long-term transformation. 2. Build trusted relationships with partners and communities. 3. Lead for social justice and health equality. 4. Drive high quality, sustainable outcomes. 5. Provide robust governance and assurance. 6.
