With growing support to facilitate active travel in schools, workplaces, and the wider community, Warwickshire County Council's Road Safety Education Team are looking to purchase a variety of parking and storage options for adult and children's bikes (Hybrid, Road, Mountain and E-Bikes) and scooters (not including e-scooters. WCC plan to purchase cycle and scooter parking and storage for schools, workplaces and community settings located throughout Warwickshire and will expect the supplier to deliver and install in these settings. The parking and storage will be used by the general public. WCC are currently working with 81 primary schools, and engaging with workplaces and community groups, all with differing cycle/scooter storage requirements and storage space available to install such products. Suppliers must be able to supply secure storage options as defined below, which meet the needs of clients with varying space requirements. Ranging from locations with limited space to locations with larger space areas. All storage options must offer somewhere secure for riders to store their bikes whilst they're at work or school. This procurement will set up a framework which will be open for 2 years with the possibility to extend for 2 years. The framework will be split into 3 lots as detailed below and will have a preferred supplier for each lot. • LOT 1 - Cycle storage units • LOT 2 - Scooter Storage units • LOT 3 - Shelters to house scooters and/or bikes Bidders can bid for one or multiple lots. Warwickshire County Council will be using its e-tendering system (In-Tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest. During the course of the contract period the range and scope of these services may be subject to modification and variation to meet the changing needs and requirements of the Council, potential changes in legislation and the changing demands placed on the Council by its customers.
