The Council has been delivering an Air Festival Hospitality offering since 2018. The purpose of the Air Festival Hospitality is to bring an income stream into the Air Festival and offer a high end hospitality for businesses directly on the flightline further raising the awareness of the event to boost the local economy and to add financially to the event and reputation. The Air Festival Hospitality consists of a covered marquee with a kitchen and decking area in a prime location on the seafront where guests book a ticket for the day to include, food, some drink and entertainment. There is also some private charity and corporate evening functions and a business engagement breakfast meeting. \r \r For 2022 the Council is seeking to expand the pop-up catering offer on the beaches and help create a more vibrant environment. As part of this plan there is an opportunity to extend the use of the Air Festival hospitality site into a summer restaurant for a 5-week period. The Air Festival model has worked in previous years for the 4-day event and therefore we will extend the usage to 5 weeks which maximises the site and fixed costs.
