HD027-22 Hobson Way Middle Drain Bridge Re-waterproofing

Description

This is a structures maintenance scheme with the main objective to re-waterproof Hobson Way Middle Drain Bridge deck. The following list is not comprehensive but details the main items of work incorporated into the scheme: • Remove all the existing road, footway and hard verge construction including the existing waterproofing, • Remove existing expansion joints, • Check for and repair any defects to the concrete bridge deck, • Prepare the existing bridge deck and install new spray applied waterproofing, • Reinstate flexible plug joints on the carriageway and nosing joints on the footway, • Resurface the carriageway over the bridge deck and its approaches, • Reconstruct the footway and hard verge over the bridge deck, including new kerbs, • Reinstate road markings.
