The service will provide a regular and on-demand cleaning service for vulnerable Milton Keynes Council (the Council) social care clients, who, through ill-health or personal reasons are unable to maintain their accommodation as a safe and pleasant place to live. People provided with the service may be experiencing a number of conditions, situations or demonstrating behaviours including but not limited to mental health conditions, particularly obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), physical ill health, autism, learning difficulty, domestic abuse, substance misuse, offending behaviour. To provide a Regular Cleaning Service of a high standard to the premises of clients as outlined above. This is likely for most clients to be bi-weekly or weekly but may be at other intervals. Each client will have a personalised cleaning plan drawn up by Adult Social Care and will be accessible to the Provider. This will detail which tasks are to be done, the frequency and time agreed in hours or parts of an hour. The Declutter & Deep Clean Service has two main functions: to declutter a property which has become neglected and unfit to live in, including properties deemed unsafe due to hoarding. This may include clearance of outside areas around the property, especially access routes, and to deep clean a property that has become a risk to the health of the occupier. The two functions will usually go together, but on some occasions the deep clean alone may be required. The Declutter & Deep Clean Service will work closely with clients and social care professionals. The service will be a 'one-off' to restore clients' accommodation to a standard that promotes safety, health, and wellbeing.
