Kirklees council are committed to develop a partnership board/ group who will oversee the development, coordination and delivery of the area offer, this would form part of the 'Kirklees Families Together' governance. Working with voluntary and community sector providers who know their communities and have those trusted relationships. The current tender has 4 community hubs: • Huddersfield • Dewsbury & Mirfield • Batley & Spen • Kirklees Rural (Colne & Holme Valleys, Denby Dale & Kirkburton) Kirklees is ambitious for its children and young people with the aim for children to thrive and to grow up with the best possibility of a good life: Our ambitions for Kirklees children: • To be healthy and valued in our community • To aspire, to achieve and to enjoy childhood • To feel safe - in a loving, secure family and a strong, cohesive community • To live in a decent home, with enough money Core to these ambitions is to ensure that all children, young people and their families receive the help and support they need as soon as they need it. Key to achieving this ambition Kirklees wide is a partnership approach to Early Support by providing effective, high quality early support locally building on strengths meeting and needs in communities. To support this, we would like to gain information from the market regarding a number of issues related to the potential procurement exercise.
