OPSS will carry out market surveillance to determine the current levels of compliance in the Hot Water sector in line with the requirements for Ecodesign and Energy Information Regulations. 2. Aims and Objectives To test 5 different Direct Unvented Hot Water Cylinders to determine their compliance with EU regulations listed below - in British Standards where applicable. All samples are not expected to exceed 350 litres storage capacity. - Retained Commission Regulation (EU) 814/2013 with regard to the Ecodesign requirement for Hot Water Storage Tanks, and - Retained Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 812/2013 with regard to the Energy Information requirements for Hot Water Storage Tanks. Testing shall also include labelling requirements on airborne noise emissions and all load profiles (tapping cycles) that are declared, including one above and one below the declared profile.
