Oxford City Housing Ltd (OCHL), trading as OX Place, are working with Cantay Estates to collaborate on a 90 unit scheme at Railway Lane, Littlemore. The project is currently envisaged as multiple house types ranging from 1 bedroom flats to 5 bedroom houses for shared ownership and social rent. \r Work is currently being undertaken on the legal and planning aspects of the transaction after the scheme achieved a planning consent on the 19th July 2022. They are seeking a contractual commitment from OCHL ultimately culminating in a golden brick purchase and a build agreement to completion. The details of this contractual arrangement are being finalised. \r OCHL are seeking an external partner organisation (professional team) to act as project manager, Employer's Agent and contract administrator to advice, manage, certify and review all works and the ongoing quality of delivery in line with OCHL requirements and instructions and that all contractual matters are adhered to. They will act as the lead consultant for OCHL and are expected to be able to help OCHL negotiate the contracts and then manage them in a timely and efficient manner. \r For the avoidance of doubt OCHL will contract directly with the successful tenderer for the design and build contract and the Employers Agent will act on OCHL's behalf throughout the entire development process including any defects period.\r Separate to this tender, there will be a tender for the Clerk Of Works service at Railway Lane. Those organisations asked to tender for the EA services will also be asked to tender for the Clerk Of Works service at Railway Lane.\r \r Aims and objectives\r This is an important opportunity for OCHL. It is expected that the design and end product will meet the company's expectations, maximising return and meeting/exceeding the companies' sustainability ambitions. It will be the first scheme with Cantay Estates who aim to build high quality homes, going over and above the new planning regulations of June 2022. \r \r SCOPE OF WORK\r Broad Scope of the Services \r OCHL intends to award a contract to a single main supplier for the project management, Employer's Agent services. \r The contract will require the supplier to provide all necessary services to achieve a successful completion of the project. \r \r
