The new Framework Agreement will be for the provision of geotechnical ground investigations. Works expected to be procured using this Framework Agreement are likely to include, but are not limited to Cable Percussion Boreholes, Rotary Drillholes with and without core recovery in both overburden and hard strata, Trial pits and trenches, Sampling and monitoring during intrusive investigation, Insitu Testing, Laboratory based geotechnical testing of soils and groundwater for engineering purposes, Laboratory based environmental testing of soils, leachates and groundwater and Provision of full factual and interpretative reports. The Framework Agreement will be awarded for a period of four years. In order to deliver these aims and objectives, it is proposed that the new framework will be split into four ‘Lots’. A single Economic Operator will be limited to the award of no more than two Lots
