The Hywel Dda University Local Health Board has approved funding for the provision of Day Opportunities. The aims of the service are: The service is to enable confidence and independence, reduce the feeling of isolation, and encourage resilience and recovery where possible. Inclusive of varying living situations To support community integration To be flexible in delivery Providing a service which supports the needs of those in, at the risk of, or at the point of a social/emotional crisis Act as a conduit to identify, broker, and signpost individuals to other help and support agencies as needed A continued commitment to co-production of Community Mental Health services awarded across the HDdUHB geographical footprint
