Tenders were invited to carry out an assessment of how the UK food system might change within the next 5 years. The last strategic assessment was completed in 2021 (and will be made available to the successful bid). It highlighted developments within the UK food system, including their potential timescale for substantial impact on the UK food system, and the opportunities and challenges that each presented for the FSA. That strategic assessment now requires a full refresh to take account of the changes in the UK food system and wider drivers of change
