University of Chester wished to make a direct award to Studylink Tours for Lot 2 - Student Group Travel Services under the Travel Management Framework 2019. This direct award followed our review of the Travel Management Framework Buyers Guide which established that Studylink Tours was the number one ranked supplier on Lot 2. The award followed discussions with Procurement Services regarding their organisation's service offering, liaison with University colleagues and that it is compliant under the framework to place a direct award. As it was compliant to direct award under the Travel Management Services 2019 framework, there was not a return date and time as the University did not go out to tender. The University could not publish this Award Notice without entering a return date and time. Therefore, the date chosen is the date in November when a project meeting was held to discuss the award. The value has been listed as £0 for the purpose of this Award Notice as there was not a tender return which included a price element and as a new award we do not have existing data to estimate the value.
