Description

To provide and coordinate support for evacuees temporarily located within Afghan Resettlement and Assistance Policy (ARAP) and Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme (ACRS) temporary accommodation within Hampshire. This Service will provide necessary support and assistance to families who have arrived in the UK and are accommodated temporarily in Home Office sourced Afghan accommodation in the Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and North Hampshire areas to help them to adjust to life in the UK, until a transfer to permanent housing which could be within their existing local authority or another local authority. Support should be provided in a way that empowers individuals into independence, to build their skills and access services independently and deal with everyday issues themselves. This is a 12 month contract with an opportunity to extend for a further 6 months. Additional information: Please note the initial term is for 12 months, with an opportunity to extend for 6 months. Initial term up until 1/01/2024 6 months extension 01/07/2024
