Equans on behalf of North East Lincolnshire Council is seeking a suitably qualified consultant to review its current strategy for flood risk management. The current strategy was adopted by the Authority in 2015 and now requires a review to bring the local flood risk management aims and objectives into line with those of the National Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Strategy and its recently published Roadmap The purpose of the strategy review is to update it in a way that aligns the aims and objectives of local flood risk management to the National Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Strategy. The strategy review will take account of all historic and newly emerging flood risk issues and how these will be managed in a sustainable way to make the Borough more resilient and adaptable to flooding. It will also enable the Borough's economic and development ambitions
