Description

BAPIO Training Academy, the education and training arm of British Association of Physicians of Indian Origin with a vision of training healthcare professionals to become clinicians and leaders to help deliver equitable and cost-effective care for global sustainability of healthcare systems proposes a training program for graduates in Echocardiography. The role of BAPIO Training Academy would be as follows 1. Enrol BSC graduates in Echocardiology and Cardiac Technology from India for the training. 2. BAPIO Training Academy to screen all applications received and shortlist suitable applicants for interview 3. Provide top up training in Echocardiography to selected applicants for a period of 3 months at local hospitals in India which are approved by BTA 4. Extensive training and induction provided to the selected applicants by Local faculty in India 5. Training provided overseas by U.K. faculty 6. Conduct assessment for these candidates every 3 months. The assessment will include assessment of theoretical knowledge as well as assessment of practical skills through OSCE stations.
