Leisure requires a mobile application to replace the current Thrive app. The current offer (Thrive App) is limited and doesn't provide a good enough experience. The app is currently supported by DCC and needs a substantial upgrade to the back-end systems to maintain functionality. This upgrade will have a considerable cost and resource impact. The current platform is dated and cannot offer a good enough customer experience to match the aspirations of the leisure transformation project. The existing app is managed and updated by DCC ICT colleagues, which can be slow and out of date. There are currently no integrations with the app as there is limited knowledge within DCC to do so. We require a fully hosted and supported leisure focussed mobile app. The app must be integrated with our current Leisure Management System (LMS) provider XN Leisure. The app should provide a native booking experience for all LMS sessions. The integration should include a single sign on. The app should also have communication and marketing tools built in. The app should be capable of working with our current and future access control provision to provide customers with a digital solution to allow access to facilities. The app must be fully customisable in terms of configuration and branding. Configuration and branding must be low code to enable in service development. The app must comply with GDPR and web accessibility regulations.
