TfL Solar PV Private Wire

Description

The objective of TfL's Solar Private Wire project is to enable TfL to directly receive zero-carbon electricity from decentralised sources, reducing the carbon emissions associated with the operation of the London Underground network. The project is focused on direct connection to new-build solar photovoltaic generation. TfL is conducting this early market engagement exercise for TfL's Solar Private Wire project to detail TfL's intended strategy prior to going to market, and to invite feedback on the proposed approach via a questionnaire. A prospectus document and draft technical materials are currently available via TfL's e-tendering portal, and TfL intend to conduct a series of 1-2-1 sessions with a selection of respondents following the deadline for response to the questionnaire, which is 5PM on 3rd May 2023.
