Description

The works involve the construction of a single storey pitched roof extension of cavity wall construction to the John Lampon Hall, Lexden Road, West Bergholt, Colchester, Essex for use as a Community Hub and Parish Office, which will be self contained in respect of its own welfare facilities and access. Please note, £10,000 of contingency to be included for the structural steelwork costs. Additional information: For the purposes of clarification please note: 1.Foundations: omit 'on plied foundations...........',add 'founded 1.0m below ground level' 2.Ground floor: omit 'under floor heating.............' ADD ; 3.'Heating: Allow for wall mounted electric panel heaters with thermostatic controls to specialist design' 4.'Decoration: Allow for walls and ceilings to be given two coats of matt emulsion and all primed woodwork to be undercoat and gloss painted.' a) Evidence: Provide documentation showing you have undertaken successfully similar projects with details of those from whom references may be taken. b) Clarification: Where assumptions have been made for tendering purposes please specify so as to enable cost comparisons to be made between tenders.
