The main works involve concrete repairs to Crompton Street River Bridge (0094) there are some additional repairs are also required to Darlington Street River Bridge (0072), works to both structures will comprise of carrying out a full delamination survey to confirm the defective concrete elements, in addition to those that have already been identified and mark out, all areas for repair. Breaking out of all defective concrete elements and the removal and disposal of this material, preparation of the substrate and any exposed reinforcement, cementitious concrete repair mortar to be used to repair all defective concrete using Renderoc HB45 or (similar approved) These works will be enabled by the construction of a temporary scaffold platform on the riverbed or a pontoon system, which is to be removed at the end of each day.
