Drugs and alcohol use contributes to a wide variety of harms within Warwickshire. Warwickshire County Council (WCC) has commissioned services which meet individual needs within the Warwickshire population who have drugs and alcohol issues. The Warwickshire Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) is seeking to re-commission services for services broken into 2 lots: Lot 1 for adults and Lot 2 for Children and Young People who are currently in or at risk of being in the criminal justice system. The services will raise awareness of the impact of drugs and alcohol use among at-risk groups, promote independent and healthy living and support positive behavioural change. The services will also reduce the harm caused to families and communities and directly contribute to reductions in offending and re-offending behaviours by diverting people away from the criminal justice system. The current contracts for Adults and Children and Young Persons Drugs and Alcohol Services for Criminal Justice Services Users with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire (OPCC) are due to expire on 31st March 2024. Therefore, a full tender process will follow this Prior Information Notice (PIN) once a comprehensive set of specifications have been drafted. Registration for an engagement event planned for the 11th July 2023 is via the messaging facility on the EU Supply portal https://uk.eu-supply.com/app/rfq/rwlentrance_s.asp?PID=70001&B=BLUELIGHT It is important to note that participation in any future open tender process will be open to any supplier and participation at this stage is not a pre-requisite.
