This advert is intended to notify potential suppliers of the combined tender including both the Rushmire Hill Geotechnical remediation and the Standish Multi-User Path works. These two pieces of work have been packaged as a single tender.\r \r Rushmire Hill Geotechnical Remediation\r Rushmire Hill is in South Gloucestershire, near Wotton-under-Edge, approximately 1.2 km south of Cotswold Edge Golf Course. The works are required to stabilise the B4058 carriageway, which has historically suffered deterioration from ground movement. Remediation works will include sheet piling along the GCC owned verge, verge and carriageway reconstruction. Site clearance will also be required to facilitate the piling works. \r \r Summary of Construction Phase key deliverables are as follows:\r Site clearance including tree clearance over approx. 255m, 3.5m width.\r Sheet piling installation along an approx. 255m length of verge.\r Partial carriageway reconstruction of the northbound carriageway over 280m. \r Carriageway resurfacing over approx. 300m\r Ground investigation including the installation of 3 no. inclinometers and 1 no. slotted standpipe in the carriageway\r Traffic Management during the construction works.\r Maintain residents' access during the construction works.\r \r Standish Multi User Path\r The works are located between the Horsemarling Lane roundabout and Blackbridge access track to the south of Standish, Gloucestershire. This scheme is part of a wider strategic scheme to boost active travel provision within the county, through the creation of the Gloucestershire Cycle Spine and includes a section of bridle way. \r \r Summary of Construction Phase key deliverables are as follows:\r Construction of 400m of 3m wide new shared use path and bridal way\r 150m of carriageway realignment and works to splinter island\r Streetlighting column installation and relocation. Columns will be supplied by GCC.\r Utility diversion works (pre-arranged by GCC for Principal Contractor to liaise/accommodate).\r Drainage works that tie-in to existing systems and includes ditch and attenuation pond construction.\r Traffic Management during the construction works.\r Maintain residents' access during the construction works\r \r Gloucestershire County Council are seeking a Principal Contractor to deliver the construction phase of this project.\r \r A summary of the outline programme for the combined packages of works is shown below:\r Tender period: 26th Sep - 31st Oct 2024\r Award: Monday 25th November 2024\r Anticipated Works Start Date: Monday 6th January 2025\r Completion: Friday 30th May 2025 \r Overall Duration: 22 weeks\r Indicative Value: (£2.2M + £0.44M VAT) = £2.64M\r \r The proposed procurement route will be a single stage (Open Procedure) using the NEC4 ECC form of Contract, Option A Priced Contract with Activity Schedule.\r \r Full details will be available in the tender pack advertised on Procontract Thursday 26th September 2024.\r \r https://procontract.due-north.com/Advert?advertId=e79b7d6e-ad6f-ef11-812f-005056b64\r
