***** THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE, NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION ***** This procurement is being concluded following a mini competition under the RM6126 Research & Insights DPS Brief Description of Requirement The research aims to conduct comprehensive Cost-Benefit Analyses (CBAs) of various options designed to address the issue of licensing entities with no substantial financial or developmental interest in the UK, its Crown Dependencies or Overseas Territories (CDOTs). The analyses will evaluate the economic costs and benefits to the UK government, consider the geopolitical implications of CDOT relationships, and provide a robust evidence base to inform future policy decisions. The goal is to enable DSIT to make informed decisions on altering government processes to reduce the UK's economic liability for satellites, alleviate resourcing strains on the government and the CAA, and ensure effective monitoring and enforcement of UK satellite licences.
