Description

STFC Boulby Underground Laboratory operates at Boulby mine - a working Polyhalite and Salt Mine run by ICL-UK in the North East of England, and hosts an array of science projects. In anticipation of a new medium scale particle detector system installation, engineering analysis has identified a requirement to reinforce the floor of the laboratory to avoid deformation of the laboratory structure.
