The London Borough of Hounslow is tendering for Children and Young Peoples Social Care Advocacy Service. The Service will provide independent confidential information, advice, advocacy, representation, support, and training to Children and Young People who are using or want to use the Children's Social Care Services, who may be in statutory or independent sector family or residential placements. The objective of commissioning this Service is to help to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and young people, to improve their life chances and to enhance the quality of services provided to them, directly or indirectly. The service is expected to provide independent advocacy support to approximately 70-85 children and young people per annum, enabling their views to be heard and acted upon.
