Description

The Council is required to appoint a reporting accountant (external auditor) to certify its annual housing benefit subsidy grant claim for the 2023/24 Financial Year to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). The Reporting Accountant is required to perform the Specific Test Requirements in accordance with the scope of work set out in DWPs HBAP reporting framework instruction (Module 1 FYE March 2022: Appendix 2 The standardised engagement terms - Section 3). On completion of these Specific Test Requirements, Reporting Accountants should report their findings to DWP. The contract is due to being 01/03/2024 and end on 28/02/2025 with the option to extend for a further 12 months. Additional information: This contract was awarded following a competition via direct invite for all suppliers authorised to provide the services by the DWP.
