Description

A framework for the supply of science resources and equipment suitable for use in primary and secondary education. A fully comprehensive range is required, including class kits, lab ware, scientific equipment and instruments, as well as a complete range of chemicals suitable for use in experiments relevant to the delivery of secondary science curriculum. Lot 1 - Primary Science Lot 2 - Secondary Science Lot 3 - Labware and Accessories Goods are for delivery to the ESPO central distribution centre (Leicester) and also for delivery directly to individual customer establishments. The framework agreement has the option to extend for up to a further 23 months. The total estimated value stated in Section II.1.5 includes the option period. The minimum financial requirement for the purposes of the current tender exercise is stated in the procurement documents. This framework will operate on-going contract monitoring procedures following award, to ensure financial stability requirements are maintained. Credit rating checks will be carried out on a regular basis, using a credit rating agency. Any changes will be assessed (compared with a baseline credit rating score obtained at contract award stage) and significant changes or sustained degradation will be investigated.
