This contract has already been awarded and is published for transparency purposes. The Department has contracted the supplier to develop an overarching standard which will allow warranty and assurance businesses, and insurance and lending providers, to have a benchmark of measurable requirements against a common good practice Publicly Available Specification (PAS) standard. The PAS should benefit designers, manufacturers and installers/developers adopting Modern Methods of Construction (MMC). The contract has now been expanded to enable the Supplier to manage additional Advisory Group meetings.
