The Strategic Asset Management and Property Improved Plan (SAMPIP) has recently been updated and was approved at Cabinet on 18th April 2023. The SAMPIP sets out the vision and strategy for the property function and contains a detailed Action Plan for delivery, which includes the transition towards a Corporate Property Model (CPM) to facilitate its delivery. There is a requirement to bring together the management of the Council's corporate assets into one directorate, thereby enabling centralized control of property budgets, staffing and utilization of assets to drive greater efficiency, compliance and service improvements across the Council's corporate portfolio. The Council is embarking on a transformation of its Property related activities. It now wishes to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced consultant on an interim basis to lead and support it through the journey to create a Corporate Property Model (CPM). It is envisaged that consultancy support will be required for an interim period of up to one year to allow time for recruitment permanently to existing vacant posts. A consultant is required to provide a cohesive team of staff on a temporary basis to work with key internal staff to assist in the implementation of the Corporate Property Model (CPM). This opportunity has been distributed on adamprocure.co.uk
