The contract covers the LCC Public Health funding for the delivery of the Financial Wellbeing campaign from October 2023 until October 2024. This includes: • Working with a range of partners across the voluntary and statutory sector to promote the financial wellbeing campaign within Leeds. • Create campaigns, for a range of benefits that older people may be entitled to including but not limited to Pension Credits, Concessionary bus passes etc. • Undertake insight and produce a report to understand the barriers people encounter in applying for benefits. • Provide insight and reports to support the review of needs in the city around healthy ageing. Particularly interested in ethnically diverse communities and barriers to applying for a range of benefits. • Raise awareness of associated benefits when applying for Pension Credits. • Lead a Pensions Credit uptake delivery group, working with partners across the city to increase financial wellbeing of older people in the city. • Pilot new innovative programmes/campaigns to increase uptake of Pension Credit and other benefits. • Gather insight and data on the impact of the pilot programmes. • Provide and share a report of the impact the Financial Wellbeing campaign with partners across the council, voluntary and statutory sector. • Supporting emerging work in the city around financial inclusion. • Meet with LCC Public Health on a quarterly basis to provide an update of the campaign and insight on barriers to accessing Pension Credits and other financial well-being initiatives.
