The aim and objectives for the specification of the Housing First service include:\r \r Implementing effective, coordinated services to prevent the emergence of rough sleepers on the streets of Kingston.\r \r Enhancing outreach initiatives for rough sleepers, facilitating their access to specialized support in accommodation pathways and alternative, suitable housing solutions.\r \r Augmenting multi-agency contributions in specialised accommodation support, accelerating housing provision to more individuals and reducing waiting times for such services.\r \r Expanding the available accommodations by establishing up to ten Housing First specialist units, designed to cater to clients with highly complex needs.\r \r Collaborating closely with the Homeless Task Force, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of client needs and optimal utilisation of resources to address these needs.\r \r Adhering to the RBK's strategic vision of minimising, with the ultimate aim of eradicating, instances of rough sleeping in Kingston.
