Manchester City Council (MCC) have a recently adopted Hybrid Cloud strategy focusing on utilising a combination of Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and on-premises solutions to meet a variety of hosting and business use cases. The Council is looking to exploit the benefits public cloud hosting can bring including improved flexibility, reduced infrastructure operating responsibilities, improved disaster recovery, automation and contribution to Zero Carbon Manchester objectives.
