We consider maintenance of our equipment and building services to be of upmost importance to provide reliable and safe access to compressed air, vacuum, and nitrogen services to workshop floor staff. The NCC workshops provide the composites industry with a means to trial manufacturing methods, investigate new techniques and offer general workshop and engineering space. This means there needs to be a reliable source of compressed air for hand tools and other equipment and systems, vacuum for several different processes such as, curing and gas supplies like nitrogen. Compressed air systems We have two sites that need covering which are NCC Emerson Green, and our Filton site current sites have access to workshop compressed air. As mentioned, this is to provide staff with a reliable source of compressed air used in various processes and on various equipment. Vacuum Supplies Like compressed air, both Filton and Emerson green site use a workshop pipe fed vacuum system; this provides workers with reliable and easy to access vacuum for various processes. Nitrogen Systems We have a variety of nitrogen systems onsite such as a large nitrogen container, bottled nitrogen, and nitrogen generation systems. Access to nitrogen systems is more specialized throughout the sites being contained to certain areas and required for specific processes. This system is not throughout the workshop. We require mainenance services
