The project will be divided into 4 work packages. The first work package will entail active engagement with stakeholders to identify evidence of innovative alternatives that they are aware of. The second will involve a thorough analysis of all innovative alternatives for single-use cups, noting advantages and disadvantages as well as their suitability for the UK, including consideration of domestic recycling infrastructure. The third will involve a deeper dive into the best alternatives to single use cups, examining in depth each one's economic impact and life cycle analysis (LCA).
